2004. Simpler times when sick meant poorly, only seadogs were salty, and all you needed to protect yourself from a catfish was a decent pair of wellies.
It’s the year we said goodbye to Friends, hello to Strictly, Mr Brightside spent the first of nearly 400 weeks in the UK charts and it is also the year I started Roy Kilcullen Photography.
Twenty years on and it’s still going strong I’ve shot over half a million commercial images to help businesses large and small to promote their brand and share their stories, produced compelling editorial photography for hundreds of magazines and had a lot of fun doing it.
